Ordering and payment

Submitting an order reserves requested items only when inventory is available. We will confirm availability and pickup or delivery details. Electronic payments must be verified before an order is treated as paid.

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Texas sales tax of 8.25% is calculated on products only. Delivery fees are not taxed.

Local pickup and delivery

We currently serve local customers only and do not ship. Pickup is free, and the pickup location is provided after the order is confirmed. Please do not arrive without a confirmed pickup time.

Local delivery is available within 25 driving miles when scheduling allows: $5 within 10 miles, $8 for 11–20 miles, and $10 for 21–25 miles. Product orders of $75 or more receive free local delivery.

Cancellations, returns, and damaged products

Because these are personal-care products, all sales are final once an order has been picked up or delivered. Unopened products are not accepted for return.

If your order is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of pickup or delivery. Include your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photos when applicable. We will review the concern and arrange an appropriate replacement or refund when approved.

To cancel an order, contact us before pickup or delivery has been confirmed. Completed electronic-payment refunds may take additional time to appear, depending on the payment provider.

Product use and safety

• For external use only. Do not ingest.
• Avoid contact with eyes and do not apply to broken or irritated skin.
• Patch test a small amount before broader use, especially if you have sensitive skin.
• Stop use if redness, burning, swelling, or other irritation occurs.
• Keep out of reach of children unless used with adult supervision.
• Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight. Natural butters may soften or melt in warm temperatures.

The Lavender blend contains Bulgarian lavender essential oil. Review the full ingredient list before use if you have known sensitivities or allergies.

Product concerns or reactions

Report a product concern or reaction to oakesnrosesapothecary@gmail.com. Include your name, contact information, product name, batch number from the jar, purchase date, and a description of what happened. Keep the product and packaging until we respond.

For a medical emergency, seek immediate medical help. Contacting Oakes & Roses Apothecary is not a substitute for medical care.

Privacy

We collect the information needed to respond to messages and complete orders, including your name, email address, phone number, order details, and—when delivery is selected—delivery address.

Information may be shared only as needed with services that support the website and your order, including email, contact-form, delivery-distance, and payment providers. Card information is entered directly with the selected payment provider and is not stored by this website. We do not sell customer information.

You may contact us to ask about or request correction of the customer information connected to your order.

Terms of purchase

By placing an order, you confirm that the information submitted is accurate and that you have reviewed these policies. An order may be declined or cancelled if an item is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, the delivery address is outside our service area, or fulfillment cannot be arranged safely.
